Impact is a British featherweight robot which competed in the 2018 King of Bots UK International Championships. It fought exclusively in a variety of side events which took place alongside the main championship, including a Tag Team battle, one whiteboard and the eighteen-way Gladiator melee, but was unable to win any of these battles.
Team Impact also competed in the main 2018 UK International Championship with drum spinner Enigma.
Design
Impact is a two-wheel drive robot with a rounded box-wedge-shaped profile and a black and red color scheme. Its main weapon is a pneumatic rear-hinged flipper, which is capable of throwing opponents over with ease.
